TERMS AND CONDITIONS

[Arrangement for season-ending products]

Horizon bakery dedicates on providing premium products with the most quality seasonal ingredients that can fulfil particular quality standards. Our team would try to contact the order customer in 3-5 working days before the pickup/ delivery date for further updates if our team couldn’t provide customer’s orders due to any circumstances appear. Meanwhile, customers can request for;

  1. Full Payment Refund, or
  2. Changing to another product or flavour with making up the price difference.

[Order update arrangement]

  1. No update or changes regarding the order items, cancellation or pickup date & time-slot rearrangement request that is notified within 3 working days before the pickup/ delivery date would be accepted.
  2. Please contact us (+852 55913533) during business hours for any enquiry or updates.

[Order Cancellation Arrangement]

  1. As production quota are limited daily, order cancellation could be either refunded fully by cash with a deduction of HKD 100 as handling charge, or refunded fully by credit points on our website with 180 days of expiration period.
  2. All urgent cancellations within 5 working days before the date of order pickup/ delivery would not be acceptable. (Neither payment refund nor order rearrangement would be allowed)

[Bad Weather Arrangement]

  1. All Pickup/ Delivery services will be suspended if either Black Rainstorm Warning/ Typhoon Signal No. 8 is hoisted before 07:30 in the morning, until the signal is downgraded or cancelled.
  2. All Pickup services will remain as normal if either Black Rainstorm Warning/ Typhoon Signal No. 8 is hoisted after 07:30 in the morning. While the Delivery service will be suspended until the signal is downgraded or cancelled. Customer who has chosen our Delivery Service can arrange self-pick up or third-party delivery service according to different circumstances. The charged delivery fee will be fully refunded by the same payment method as how the customer paid their order on the Horizon bakery website. *Please prioritise the concern of actual traffic condition & safety of yourself and the third-party delivery team.
  3. If either Black Rainstorm Warning/ Typhoon Signal No. 8 is downgraded or cancelled between 07:30-12:30, for those pickup/ delivery orders between 11:00-14:00 will be cancelled & refunded with credit points on the Horizon bakery platform, with no expiry date. The credit points can be used in your next time purchase.
  4. If either Black Rainstorm Warning/ Typhoon Signal No. 8 is downgraded is still hoisted at 12:30pm, all orders of the day will be cancelled & refunded with credit points on the Horizon bakery platform, with no expiry date. The credit points can be used in your next time purchase.
  5. We hope you understand that under the bad weather condition, our delivery service is highly possible to be affected due to the unforeseeable circumstances. Our team will try the best to fulfil all customers' demand under a feasible & safe condition.

[Self-Pickup Order Instruction]

  1. Picking up the cake with a cooler bag is strongly recommended to help maintain the premium texture and flavour of the cake. Horizon bakery would not be responsible for any unexpected consequences if the customer insists on picking up the cake with no cooler bag protection.
  2. Cake items are suggested to be refrigerated within 30 - 45 mins in a 4°C refrigerator for not less than 30 mins after being picked up.
  3. Cake must be held steadily and horizontally during transportation.
  4. Please contact us as soon as possible during business hours if any unfortunate situations happened to the cake during transportation. Our team would try their best to help or provide the best solution for the customer.
  5. Customers have to visit our studio directly for cake collections. All staff are not allowed to deliver the cake to anywhere outside Horizon bakery's studio area.
  6. Please be noted that our business hour ends at 20:00, no cake collections can be arranged outside business hours.
  7. In order to ensure the food quality and operation efficiency, all orders have to be collected within our business hour (13:30-20:30) on the date of collection that customers have selected. We will not provide any cake keeping service and Horizon bakery reserves all rights handling the cakes that have not been collected with no further refund or compensation in any form.
  8. Last but not least, please enjoy the cake provided by Horizon bakery sincerely.

[Delivery Order Instruction]

  1. Some locations may operate under different policies & rules or lack of parking lot that our delivery team may not able to provide door-step delivery. In such cases, the customer may have to collect the cake from our delivery team downstairs in the buildings or apartments. We are truly sorry for any inconvenience caused.
  2. Please make sure the recipient’s phone is active and reachable by dialling by our delivery team. Cakes would have to return to Horizon bakery (觀塘開源道55號開聯工業中心A座707室) for all unreachable deliveries to ensure the cake’s quality. The customer may have to pick up the cake or rearrange the third-party delivery to come over Horizon bakery (觀塘開源道55號開聯工業中心A座707室) by themselves on the same day within our business hour (13:30 - 20:30). Delivery fee would not be refunded for all unreachable orders.
  3. Orders should be delivered anytime within the delivery section. Please make sure the recipient's phone is reachable otherwise the cake will be delivered back to Horizon bakery (觀塘開源道55號開聯工業中心A座707室) to ensure the cake quality.
  4. We do not offer any delivery service to Island District, Park Island, Tung Chung or Discovery Bay.
  5. The fixed delivery fee has covered a Cooler Bag & Ice Pack. It is not necessary to add to your cart for checkout.
  6. Some remote areas will be charged for an extra delivery fee ($10-$50)
  7. If the location selected is a restaurant, please remark your booking number or all related information regarding the reservation during checking out your order on our website.
  8. If there's any update regarding the delivery, please contact us via phone call during business hours at least 1 business day in advance.

*For all updates regarding the item size, flavour, pickup/ delivery date, delivery address and recipient’s information, please contact us with phone calls to ensure our team is notified and updated.

*Horizon bakery reserves all rights to modify, suspend or terminate the above terms and conditions without prior notice. In the case of a dispute, the decision of Horizon bakery shall be final.
